I am currently fascinated by the combination of photography and printmaking. This is a process that I have been working on for a decade at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop in NYC.
Using the ocean and its shores, I layer and combine these two mediums to examine the humanity of immigrants and the duality found in most first generation immigrants like himself who are navigating the space between a native and a host culture when each culture continuously retains its unique characteristics.
It has been an honor to have been asked by Art Alive Gallery in India to be one of the artists to contribute to their Art For Hope initiative during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I have been exhibited both in the United States and abroad.
My artwork can be found in various private collections, and I live in NYC.
